Wineries

We source high-altitude and unfiltered wine from family-owned vineyards in our homeland of Argentina.

Each of our partners are committed to true expressions of terroir—the character of the land and culture that define the uniqueness of the wines. The altitude of the vineyards and proximity to the Andes Mountains provide the ideal location for the cultivation of grapes. Our products represent the land and the people—passionate and genuine.

OTERO RAMOS

Priding itself in the art of handcrafted wine making, the labor in the Otero Ramos vineyards is manual; from debudding and first thinning during veraison (when berries start to change their color), to second thinning for bunch sorting.

Otero Ramos vineyards are irrigated with smelt waters from the Andes, which are stored their in own pond. It has a capacity of 8 million liters and was especially designed to refresh and further embellish the view. Otero Ramos' first vintage was in 2006. The vineyard’s layout allows a meticulous and manual handling of the stocks. Wine is conceived in the land and once the bunches are ripe and have reached their peak condition, they are carefully harvested and taken into the winery, thus obtaining top quality grape juice to elaborate Otero Ramos high range wines.

The Otero Ramos winery was designed in a Spanish style, a traditional characteristic construction of late XIX, beginning of XX century wineries. There is an underground cellar for oak and bottle ageing. Their current capacity is 600.000 liters, and their elaboration involves high-tech equipment and the most careful and traditional oenological practices.

The winery relies on two Oenologists and a prestigious International Flying winemaker, Mr. Sergio Correa Undurraga.

Bodega Iaccarini

Founded in 1903 by Italian immigrant, Don Pascual Iaccarini, Bodega Iaccarini is located in the foothills of the Andes in San Rafael, a province of Mendoza. At 2,789 feet above sea level, the sandy soils and the climate create a symbiotic relationship making favorable conditions for the cultivation of the vines.

The estate is divided into three blocks according to the age of the vineyards, which defines the different wine categories. The vines, ranging from 5 to 25 years of age, have been planted by means of the traditional high espalier method and are protected with an anti-hail net system. They grow on rocky sandy loam at an average altitude of 800 meters above sea level. The natural enclave of the terroir, protected by the Andes Range and bathed by its rivers, is what defines its characteristic profile: a region with scarce rainfall and low humidity levels, with clearly defined winters, warm summers and good sun exposure. All of these elements allow for complete grape ripening and excellent typicity, two aspects which the region is very proud of.

MiraLUNA

Nested in the remote Andean mountain tops of Cachi, Salta, this 12-acre, family-owned winery is one of the highest elevation vineyards in the world, focusing only on very limited, high-end wine production.

Miraluna offers a reunion with the values of nature, environmental conservation and the revaluation of the ancestral cultures of its surroundings. Its location offers a diversity of unique soil and its height in the Andes mountains is around 8,435 feet above sea sevel – one of the highest elevation vineyards in the world. These factors are an explosive mixture, rendering ideal conditions for the cultivation of premium grapes, resulting in unique, high-end wines.

Miraluna vineyards were planned for the production of wines with great fruit expression and varietal typicity. At present, Miraluna has 8 acres dedicated to the Malbec variety and 4 acres to Merlot, planted in simple espaliers.
