Passport & Visas Requirements

Passports are required for all travelers. Prior to confirming your travel arrangements, you should check your Passport and establish that it will remain current for the entire period of your travel. Please be aware that the name on your airline ticket must be identical to that on your Passport. Certain countries require that your Passport remains valid for a period of up to six months after the date upon which you are scheduled to leave such country. If your Passport expires less than six months after the date you are scheduled to leave such country you may be denied entry into that country.

Currently, Argentina does not require a Visa for U.S. Citizens entering the country. U.S. Citizen passports are considered to be valid visas for a 90 day tourist visit upon arrival. However, it is the traveler’s responsibility to have all the proper and valid documentation to enter the country (or countries involved should you elect to extend your travel). You should clarify visa requirements with the Embassies of the countries that you plan to visit as certain countries may require you to posses a visa.

Entering Argentina

To date, reciprocity fee has been cancelled for all U.S. Citizens. No fee.

To date, reciprocity fee has been cancelled for all Australians citizens. No fee.

To date, Canadians must pay a reciprocity fee for entering for Argentina (U$D 75). This fee must be paid before travelling ‐ online ‐ More info: http://www.migraciones.gov.ar/pdf_varios/reciprocidad/Online_payment_instructions.pdf

Travel & Medical Insurance

We highly recommend that all travelers obtain both travel insurance and travel medical insurance prior to their tour. The policies should provide coverage and costs associated with trip cancellation, trip interruption, trip delay, baggage and personal effects loss, baggage delay, medical expense, emergency evacuation and repatriation of remains, accidental death & dismemberment, among other items. Most major credit card companies offer both travel and medical insurances. If you need recommendations, we're happy to help - just ask!
